Picky Pad Care & FAQ

How do I use my picky pad?
Pick and remove the beads, charms, and other inclusions from your pad. When you’re ready to reset it, remove the inclusions and follow the remelting instructions below.

How do I remelt my picky pad?
Remove the inclusions and tear the base into smaller pieces. Microwave the base in
10-second increments until it reaches approximately a maple-syrup consistency. Stir the inclusions back into the melted base, then allow the pad to cool completely before using it again.

How many times can I reuse it?
Picky pads are designed to be remelted and enjoyed again and again. With proper use and care, the base can be reused
30+ times.

How should I store it?
Keep your picky pad in its reusable storage container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.

How do I clean it?
Gently wipe the surface with a damp cloth as needed. Do not submerge the picky pad in water.

What if my picky pad arrives soft or melted?
Warm temperatures during shipping can cause the base to soften or melt. Your pad is shipped sealed and should be fully usable once it has cooled back to room temperature.

Are picky pads suitable for children?
Picky pads contain small parts and are
not suitable for children under 3. Young children should be supervised during use. Always allow the pad to cool completely after remelting before handling it.

Are all picky pads exactly like the photos?
No two handmade pads will be exactly identical. Colors, bead placement, and individual inclusions may vary slightly.
