This would be a wonderful mommy and me Christmas dress for a holiday party or matching outfits for family pictures. I pre-wash and pre-shrink all of my fabric to provide you with the truest size and prevent color bleed. These twirl dresses are soft and include pockets! The sample is a size 9 with long sleeves, you have the option to choose short, long, or 3/4 sleeves. For the adult option, we would definitely recommend taking measurements and NOT going by your ready to wear size as this has a fitted bodice. If you're unsure of size, please send me a message and I'll help guide you. Unfortunately, the mom dress does not have pockets yet (they're on the list! I just need some time to draft the pattern.) The bodice of this dress is lined, so more seams are enclosed (let me know if you need as many as possible enclosed or on the outside instead of inside!) and I finish my seams with wooly nylon for softer seams. I can't guarantee that your sensory child will accept these, but I'm game to try! The dress is made from 66% bamboo, 28% cotton, 6% spandex jersey knit that was sourced, milled, and printed in the US. Everything is sewn by me in my home studio in Alabama. I use wooly nylon to keep the seams softer and everything is serged for more secure and professional seams. The cotton in these dresses only gets softer over time. Please use the size chart in the third image and go by your child's measurements to choose the best fit for your child. This bamboo cotton spandex jersey is an off-white base with at least 50% 4-way stretch. This fabric isbvery similar to the cotton spandex jersey used in other items in my shop, but the addition of bamboo gives the fabric a smooth hand and drape. Due to the nature of natural bases, and fabric in general, each batch of fabric may have a slightly different color. Prints may vary from batch to vatvg as well, depending on changes in inks, printers, fabric base variances, etc. Print colors can also vary from base to base. The printing process for natural fabrics is different from the printing process for synthetic bases. Scale of print can also change the apparent color intensity. The only way to ensure that prints and fabric bases match is to cut everything from the same base from the same batch. While we try to show fabrics in their true colors, differences in lighting, camera settings, screen resolution, and color settings may alter what you see on your screen. All of our items are handmade, one item at a time. Some may already be complete and ready to ship, but most are made to order. Die to their handmade nature, prints may appear larger or smaller on your item, depending on relative size. Print placement will vary for each individual item. Care: We recommend washing on cold or warm in a gentle cycle using a mild detergent and tumble dry on low. For best results, wash with like fabrics avoiding abrasive items like towels and jeans.
